Another hit on my childhood...

Mary Travers of Peter, Paul and Mary dead at 72

DANBURY, Conn. — Mary Travers, one-third of the hugely popular 1960s folk trio Peter, Paul and Mary, has died.

The band's publicist, Heather Lylis, says Travers died at Danbury Hospital in Connecticut on Wednesday. She was 72 and had battled leukemia for several years.

I can remember my daddy singing "Puff the Magic Dragon" to me with his guitar when I was a wee baby and have loved Peter Paul & Mary's music ever since. And the woman could play one heck of a guitar.

Rest in peace and play with the angels.

Before we go any further here, I want to lay down some ground rules. As long as everyone follows these, we're golden. If you don't you will be zapped.
1. Remain civil. Mamma always says "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all!" If you find yourself getting angry by something I say, or something someone else posts, step back, breathe, say a prayer, then continue.
